Two girls from Huntingtower fished out a Y5 boy from another school from the canal the other day. They were very careful and helped him out after he had been warned by them about the dangers of playing on ice.

Alisha and Olivia knew about the dangers of playing on ice because the school had discussed them so they were able to explain how hazardous it is. He ignored their warnings and turned up to his school very cold and wet! Mr Anderson had done an assembly on ice and all children were now warned about how dangerous the cold weather can but......but how much fun it can be too if aware of the dangers!
