Huntingtower on the road!
Sometimes, I wonder what it must be like to see our Academy from the outside. The staff and I would hope that people see a bright and energetic environment full of children who are happy learners. Weeks like this help to reinforce how we feel. Six classes have been exploring the wider world on trips, from Y3 and 4 visiting the Skegness Aquarium to Y5 who have visited the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. On all 3 trips, the staff have received glowing comments about our pupils, your children and we really are proud of how they present themselves and their enthusiasm to learn. Thank you goes to you the parents as your contributions, as well as the contributions from the PTFA to the trips, make these experiences possible.
Our Year 2 pupils have been very busy this week with the Statutory Assessments (SATs). Mrs Miller and Miss Robertson have been really impressed by their enthusiasm to ‘show the world’ how much they have learned over the last 2 years. They have been super stars and I know that they will continue to work hard in the future. The Year 3 teachers are going to be very lucky to receive these pupils next year! Next week is our final week of Term 5 and fingers crossed the weather is going to be better so that we can continue to enjoy our outdoor environment!
