Racing into July!
We are quickly reaching the final few weeks of the academic year and there is no sign of our enthusiasm for learning waning! It was a pleasure to visit Warwick Castle with the Year 6 pupils; they were curious and enthusiastic and epitomised the our academy and trust values.
The weather this week has been very mixed and whilst we were disappointed not to be able to hold the KS2 races on Wednesday, we are delighted that the weather has improved in time for the Summer Fayre on Friday evening.
It is with mixed feelings that we say goodbye to Mr Turner, this Friday. Having joined us 14 years ago, he has become a much loved and valued member of the staff. Whilst we are really delighted with his appointment as a senior Pastoral role at a secondary school in Lincoln, he will be very much missed by everyone. It is not totally goodbye, however, but rather adieu as Mr Turner will continue to be a parent at the academy and as, we like to say, once Huntingtower, always Huntingtower.
We now have three more weeks left of term and are particularly looking forward to Moving Up day on Tuesday. Good luck to all of our Year 6s who will be gaining their first experiences of their new secondary schools and we can't wait to meet our new Early
