Christmas Fayre a Huge Success
Thanks extended to the PTFA for great organisation
A wonderful event took place today to raise funds for the PTFA. The Winter Fayre had been a long time in the planning by both the PTFA and children of Huntingtower. As well as the usual tombolas and raffles there was an enterprise initiative where the children were given thirty pounds for each class to try to raise more money through making and selling. Although the results are not in we know some classes are rather competitive in trying to make the most profit.
Extra special this year was the appearance of the choir who sang beautifully. Later on in the evening the gymnasts performed their own arrangement for a very appreciative audience.
As always, the money raised goes back into school to enable us to buy some things that are often beyond the reach of the school budget. Last year, along with helping to pay for school trips, the PTFA bought the school a new sound system. Thanks to all of them for their hard work and commitment to the school.
