Assembly on Respecting Difference for World Religion Day
Mr Anderson's assembly was linked to World Religion Day and about respecting difference and compromise
There are always going to be times when we cannot get on with one another but how can we still ensure differences can either be resolved or accepted. Mr Anderson explored this theme with the children and used World Religion Day to explore what options we have. How we see a situation depends on the perspective we look at it from as this influences our interpretation. We never see the same thing in the same way as someone else. However, if we can respect the other person's perspective, and are prepared to compromise, then differences can be resolved. This assembly explored these concepts.
